The professional activity of the founding partner of the firm began in Clusone (BG) in 2003. In January 2018 the original professional structure, after 15 years of activity, was organized in the form of a joint-stock company through the establishment of an engineering company called “Studio Castelletti s.r.l.”.
The structure is made up of technicians with extensive experience in the hydroelectric, river and hydraulic fields (sewers, aqueducts, hydraulic and environmental arrangement and water treatment).
Overall, the firm has completed 378 orders in 19 years, of which 260 concerned hydroelectric plants, for a total installed capacity of 1335 MW, of which, according to the IRENA (International Renewable Energy Agency) classification:

The most important hydroelectric plant designed and built is the Kikagati hydroelectric plant, on the border between Uganda and Tanzania, which has a maximum flow rate of 240 m³/s over a head of 9.0 metres.
Since its foundation, the company has worked on 3 continents in 23 different countries: Albania, Algeria, Libya, Nigeria, Bulgaria, England, Italy, Indonesia, Macedonia, Romania, Rwanda, Scotland, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, Uganda, Wales , Cameroon, Angola, Tanzania, Georgia, Greece and Buthan.
Starting in 2020, the company began a process of diversifying its activities, while remaining in the hydraulic sector.
The sectors of intervention concern the hydraulic arrangement in the mountain area and the interventions in the sewage and aqueduct sector.
